My brother and myself are planning a September hunt for Fallow Deer,Wild boar and a couple of other animals. I could see by your pictures that you realling enjoyed your hunt at Wilderness Hunting Lodge. Any specific areas of the hunt that were lacking, or superior? Did you see a lot of boar? How large of an area did you guys hunt? Was the terrain mountainous? Any suggestions you might have?
Congratulations on your successful hunt, great web site!!!

Best regards,
Warren Hatfield
  • Thanks for Writing. There is not really a bad part of the property. The hospitality is great and the sleeping arrangements are also very nice. There are quite a bit of hills,  so be ready to climb the mountain side. There is plenty of fallow deer and you will get a shot for sure, if that is what you want. The button bucks look like does so you need to be careful what you shoot to keep from having to pay for a buck, unless that's what you want. The boars are everywhere you go so they won't be hard to find, just find the one you want and the color that suits your fancy. One of the area's that you hunt is 1100 acres and the other is 400 so you have plenty to walk through. The only suggestion I have is to arrive on Saturday afternoon and hunt until Tuesday when there may be less people there. (ask for Dave if you want a Guide) Great Guy...

    Have a blast,
    Craig
